What Is Engraved Breastmilk Jewellery?

Engraved breastmilk jewellery is a piece of jewellery made from gold, silver, rolled gold or gold vermeil which contains a resin stone infused with preserved breastmilk. The metal setting itself is engraved using a laser engraver with the name, date, or words of your choosing, The amount of characters which can be engraved varies depending on the size of the piece. The most popular choices for engraving are:

Your baby’s name or initials
Birth dates or breastfeeding milestones
Words like “Love", “Mama”, or “Forever”

How are they Made?

Your own breastmilk is carefully preserved, dried, ground down into a fine powder and combined with resin to become a beautiful stone, which is then set into your chosen jewellery design. Before the breastmilk stone is set, the metal is carefully polished before being engraved with a laser with your chosen personalisation.

How much breastmilk is required?

For any of the engravable styles 5ml of breastmilk is a perfect amount. There are ways to work with smaller amounts if 5ml is difficult to provide, please contact me here to discuss.

How long does engraved breastmilk jewellery take?

A piece of engraved breastmilk jewellery takes on average 6-8 weeks from receipt of your milk collection kit. This rises to 10-12 weeks for 9ct Gold, handmade rings such as The Simple and Dual Stone Rings and custom orders.

What happens after I order?

After placing your order, you’ll receive a breastmilk collection kit in the post which contains everything you need to send your 5ml of breastmilk to be preserved and turned into your jewellery. You will receive email confirmation of your order, the dispatch of your milk collection kit and also confirmation of our receipt of the breastmilk collection kit.
