Made using your own preserved milk, each necklace from Boobie Jewels is a meaningful piece of breastmilk jewellery, created to celebrate the love, strength and connection shared during breastfeeding.
Lovingly handmade in our West Yorkshire studio, our breastmilk necklaces turn a small amount of breastmilk into a smooth, durable stone, set into an elegant pendant. Whether you’re marking the end of your breastfeeding journey or simply want to remember those early days, a breastmilk necklace is a timeless and deeply personal keepsake.
What Is A Breastmilk Necklace?
A breastmilk necklace is a piece of jewellery made from gold, silver, rolled gold or gold vermeil which contains a resin stone infused with preserved breastmilk. Every Boobie Jewels breastmilk necklace pendant is made to order using your own breastmilk.
Our breastmilk necklaces are available with or without a chain so can be added to the necklace of your choice. They can also be personalised further with laser engraving, or the addition of Initial/Birth Flower Tags.
How are they Made?
Your own breastmilk is carefully preserved, dried, ground down into a fine powder and combined with resin to become a beautiful stone, which is then set into your chosen pendant design. Many necklace styles can also be engraved for an extra layer of personalisation.
How much breastmilk is required?
For any of the pendant styles 5ml of breastmilk is a perfect amount. There are ways to work with smaller amounts if 5ml is difficult to provide, please contact me here to discuss.
How long does a breastmilk necklace take?
A breastmilk necklace takes on average 6-8 weeks from receipt of your milk collection kit. This rises to 10-12 weeks for 9ct Gold and custom orders.
What happens after I order?
After placing your order, you’ll receive a breastmilk collection kit in the post which contains everything you need to send your 5ml of breastmilk to be preserved and turned into your necklace pendant. You will receive email confirmation of your order, the dispatch of your milk collection kit and also confirmation of our receipt of the breastmilk collection kit.
