How are they Made?

Your own breastmilk is carefully preserved, dried, ground down into a fine powder and combined with resin to become a beautiful stone, which is then set into your chosen jewellery design. You can choose from a range of timeless and elegant settings, both handmade and cast opitions and many styles can also be engraved for an extra layer of personalisation.

How much breastmilk is required?

​

For any of the solid gold styles 5ml of breastmilk is a perfect amount. There are ways to work with smaller amounts if 5ml is difficult to provide, please contact me here to discuss.

How long does solid gold breastmilk jewellery take?

​

​ A piece of 9ct Solid Gold breastmilk jewellery takes on average 10-12 weeks from receipt of your milk collection kit. The longer turnaround time is due to the fact that every solid gold jewellery setting is handmade/cast to order and after making is sent to the Assay office for hallmarking, a process which can take a couple of weeks.

What happens after I order?

​

After placing your order, you’ll receive a breastmilk collection kit in the post which contains everything you need to send your 5ml of breastmilk to be preserved and turned into your jewellery. You will receive email confirmation of your order, the dispatch of your milk collection kit and also confirmation of our receipt of the breastmilk collection kit.
