Your breastmilk collection kit will be sent and returned via Royal Mail 2nd Class post as standard. If you would like to upgrade the postage on your breastmilk return to a tracked service for extra peace of mind, please feel free to do so.

Once complete, your finished breastmilk jewellery will be shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 48 service and you will receive a tracking number for this in your shipping confirmation email. All 9ct Gold jewellery is shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day Guaranteed service.

The estimated completion time for a piece of breastmilk jewellery is 4-6 weeks from receipt of breastmilk, though this is not guaranteed and may be longer during busy periods. For solid 9ct gold this estimated turnaround time rises to 8-12 weeks due to the extra time required for hallmarking of your metal. If you are purchasing jewellery and would like it for a special occasion less than 6 weeks away I would always advise contacting me to check current turnaround times before ordering to avoid disappointment.

All breastmilk jewellery with the exception of The Keepsake Box and The Stud Earrings is packaged in a Boobie Jewels branded grey matchbox style jewellery box, secured with rose gold ribbon. The jewellery box will be nestled on a bed of wood wool within an outer mailing box. The Stud Earrings will arrive on a kraft earring card inside of a protective bubble wrap bag with a Boobie Jewels logo sticker sealing it and The Keepsake Box arrives in a deep, grey jewellery box. Neither the collection kit nor the finished jewellery have any branding on the outside and do not carry my business name so if you’re purchasing breastmilk jewellery as a surprise, no need to worry that the packaging gives anything away. There is also no invoice or pricing information enclosed with the finished jewellery, receipts and invoices are all sent via email.

Due to the unique nature of every individual sample of breastmilk, the finish of the breastmilk element may vary from that pictured. The breastmilk stone may be anything from deep yellow (more typical of colostrum milk) to bright white in colour and may be opaque and 'solid' in appearance or may have visible milk flakes and look 'chunkier'. All breastmilk is ground down by hand with a pestle and mortar and some breastmilks will grind to a finer powder than others. The outcome of your breastmilk element is completely unique and determined entirely by the breastmilk sent. If you have a preference for the colour of your breastmilk jewellery, try to send a sample of milk as close to the desired colour of the stone as possible. Breastmilk does usually lighten a shade or two during the preservation process also.
